Grounded! Said to a teenager by parents- was not a fun thing! Referring to an airplane- means our plans are changed, inconvenience, and stressful. Yet, in the grounding in these situations- it was done out of protection and their were lessons on the other side of it. Grounded can mean being stable, sensible and sense of well being. We have rhythms and rituals in our life (morning routines, work-outs, devotions, music, hobbies) that foster our well being in creating a sense of calm. Now more than ever in this noisy world- being able to be grounded it a beautiful blessing. You'll hear about grounding- what is it? what does it do? how do you do it? Many benefits for your mind, body and soul. In the busy of your everyday life, you are going to have to remind yourself "you're grounded" and your adult self will thank you for the care of your well-being.
